Thank you for expressing interest in joining the José
Eber Atelier creative team in the United States.
José Eber Atelier was established in the USA in 1979. His success as a European Stylist and his qualities as an astute businessman have allowed him to achieve a place at the pinnacle of the industry. The flagship salon, located on exclusive Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills is unquestionably the most expansive and complete beauty facility.
To
work as a hair stylist in the US one must have a work permit visa
and a cosmetology license.
José Eber Atelier sponsors the
work permit visa through the services of an Immigration Attorney.
The visa is valid for two to three years and can be extended. The
legal fee of the Attorney is the responsibility of the candidate.
In accordance with the US laws for immigration, we are able to sponsor
a short-term non-immigrant visa such as an H-3 or J-1 trainee visa
or an O-1 extraordinary ability in the arts visa.
The cosmetology
license is requested by each state of the country. Each state has
a different procedure. California and Florida require a written
and practical examination as well as some schooling hours. Texas
and New York will accept those candidates from any other state or
country that has equivalent standards.
For your information, the procedure for visa takes five to six weeks
after completing your application and filing the petition. The procedure
for cosmetology license may take two to three months after mailing
the application. Please provide us as soon as possible a video featuring a demonstration of your work performing two or three haircut and style on short hair, shoulder length hair or long hair so that we an evaluate your capacities. Please take
a few moments to tell
us about you or contact
us with questions or comments. |
